Getting things done for the community

New sidewalks being poured and finished along the first stretch of Streetscape, from Marchetta to Basil streets. One of the most extensive projects ever planned in the city is now getting done. Combined with the El Portal Railroad undercrossing, the new infrastructure will be transformational for the community.

Making modest improvements to the railroad corridor on North Vulcan Avenue

Smoothing out and cleaning up the area so that it’s easier to walk without turning an ankle in a rut. Phase 2 will start soon to finish the work to La Costa Avenue.

Built a new Marine Safety Center

Moonlight Beach continues to be one of the most enjoyable places for people to gather, and the city has worked to make it safe for all.

Building a new park in Leucadia

The land for a park was donated to the city as part of a housing development almost 20 years ago. Design and construction of the new Olympus Park was a priority of mine and it is now only a few months from opening.
